Numana is the town where our apartment building is located. It is the place in the heart of the Riviera, just perfect for a relaxing and fun holiday for your family.
On the top of town is preserved its maritime story, a dense number of narrow streets embrace the colorful houses of the fisherman, the big terrace opens up towards the sea with a wide panorama of the fantastic Conero riviera. From the centre you can take a walk down to the lower part of town which is the newer, modern and dynamic one. Vast areas of plantations, farms and mediterranean woods is what you will see as you leave Numana behind.
Since 2000 Numana has gained the Blue Flag, a recognition of clear waters and liveable beaches.
Numana is also art, The Sanctuary of SS Crocifisso and the State Antiquarium are the evidence.
The history of Numana goes back to remote times, when human settlement already established in the Neolithic. The traditions of this town are related to the miraculous Crocefisso which is preserved in the namesake Sanctuary. According to tradition the Crocefisso was carried by those who crucify the body of Christ. This case represents a considerable historical and artistic value. Other important icons in town are the tower, the arch with its unknown origin and the little alley the Costarella that turns into a natural open door artistic exhibition.

Recanati is the birthplace of the famous poet Giacomo Leopardi. It is possible to visit the library in his house as well as walking around the narrow streets of town. In the Pinacoteca civica you can find works of Lorenzo Lotto. The museum of Beniamino Gigli and the Diocesiano one are rather worth visiting.
